The Alentejo is one of the largest wine regions in Portugal, where the view is lost in extensive plains that are only interrupted by small hills. This hot and dry region has benefited from numerous investments in the wine sector, which has resulted in the production of some of the best Portuguese wines and, consequently, in the international recognition of Alentejo wines.
